I scream, you scream, we all scream for ice cream!
This delicious ice cream is made using various alternative milks. These are labelled so you can avoid coconut milk for example.
I had blueberry-lavender and pumpkin seed in a tub and Ian had maple-pecan and raspberry in a cone. The next day I had basil and Ian had
a chocolate-coffee flavour.
Veganista ice cream is catching on fast. They had not long opened their third shop and now I see a fourth is opening in Vienna. They are open from 12:00 until 10:00pm, Monday to Sunday. On Facebook.
There was a short queue out the door when we went (for the first visit…)
They also have a book for sale with their recipes (in German). So you can sneak a quick peak at other ingredients if you want to check things but I do not think English will be a problem if you just ask.

The book is worth buying (paper or e-book) if you can read German or are happy to do a little translating – “Veganista: Pionierinnen der neuen Eiszeit (German Edition)” – pioneers of the new ice age indeed.
Also, I think there even more shops in store for Vienna and the hours look to be longer now we are in summer. All great news:)
