In this restaurant you can order all the middle eastern mezzo dishes and they are delicious. Sample stuffed grape leaves, squash dishes, mujadara (a lentil and onion pilaf), bulgur, homemade fresh pita bread sprinkled with za’atar and hummus, falafel with tahini, fresh salads, eggplants with tomato sauce and so on. Vegan options are plentiful.
This is the southernmost Druze town in the world and the largest in Israel. Almost every visitor to Israel visits at one point this village. On weekends, hundreds of visitors drive here to find bargains in Daliat el-Carmel’s old marketplace, located at the heart of the village, at the same place where you will find Restaurant Abu Anter.
