We absolutely loved this place. It is located within a bay in the south of Istrien in the north of Croatia. For those who don’t want to drive, Pula the near by city has an international Airport.
Arena One offers different types of tents and a spa area overlooking the bay with whirlpools, sauna, yoga and massage service. The tents were spotless with enough space between them and provide you with most everything you need. Beds are comfortable and warm enough. Coffee maker from Illy needs special capsules which you can buy at the Illy bar. Some tents are a bit more exposed than others to the public but it’s a camp ground. Tent service (room service) every day was nice, the staff is super friendly. Some tents like the Lodge tent are better if you want to cook for yourself, which is recommended for a whole foods plant based lifestyle. The kitchens have a stove, fridge and microwave. Lodge tents also have a sofa and the TV in the kitchen area.  The Safari Tent kitchen is also good for cooking just less cozy in case it rains. I recommend bringing basic foods, salt, spices and drying towels. A good supermarket is about 3km away in direction to Premantura in the village of Banjole. You will find also the Health Food Store bio&bio in Pula.
The beach is clean with enough chairs to lounge. It is fantastic to be able to jump into the water at any time. For an evening Aperitif or when we didn’t wanted to cook, we went to the Beach Bar Blue which offered a big salads, soups and grilled vegetables.
In general Arena One 99 is a great location to discover other beaches, great for jogging, biking and hiking… We really hope the management can keep up this high standard and the quality of the tents. We will love to come back.
